After reading about the different parts of the world, the students worked in groups to create a project that showed what animals, plants, landforms, and type of climate was in their region that they picked. Their projects were so much fun!

Alaska

Tropical Rainforest

African Savanna

Temperate Rainforest

We had so much fun working with Ms. Marsha's preschoolers to make awesome leprechaun traps!! Unfortunately the leprechaun was too tricky and we didn't catch any but at least he left some gold behind for us to eat!!

We won the Moby Max trophy!!  We had the most minutes on Moby for the whole second grade!  Way to go!!

 Penguin Research
During our penguin unit each student picked a type of penguin and researched all about it.  Then we made the penguins according to their real heights!  It was fun to see all the different heights of the penguins!

The Night Tree Story and Activity with our preschooler buddies

After reading the story The Night Tree, we made the birds food by putting peanut butter and bird seed on a bagel!

We had fun putting them on the trees for the animals in the winter!
