Over the past month we learned about caterpillars and even got to watch them turn into butterflies in our classroom.
Once they were butterflies, we had to say goodbye to them and let them go into nature.
We had a great time touring the hospital on our mini-medic tour on Friday! We learned a lot about all the different departments of the hospital.
I was happy to get a great (and yummy) report card for this school year from one of my students!

Congratulations to my second graders for working so hard to earn the most points in Moby Math for the month of April! Each month there is a contest to see which second grade class gets the most points and our class won the Moby Math trophy! Keep working hard in Moby Math!

The students worked very hard publishing a story that they wrote. We had a publishing party and they got to go down to all three of the preschool rooms and share their story with the preschoolers. I am very proud of how hard they worked and what great authors they have become in second grade!
