The students and their grandparents or special friend had a great time at the Grandparents program.  The second grade performed songs and presented the grandparents with blue ribbons.  Afterwards they got to sit down together and have cookie and juice.

The kids were very challenged when Mrs. Shipman came in six times and gave them a variety of activities to do.  This activity challenged the kids to see which group could build the highest tower with their straws, a cup and a fork.

We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of school!  One of our activities was to bring in 100 items and make a design with them!

We enjoyed our author visit from Marsha Chall!
