Student of the Week 

A big thank you to Hailey and her mom who came in during Hailey's student of the week and had some of the students help her put on a skit to show what nurses do.  What a fun way to teach the students about her job!

Need for Speed Addition Math Facts Game

During Math Intervention, students have been playing different games to help them learn their addition math facts.  They enjoyed playing "Need for Speed" where they get to time each other and graph how many math facts they can get correct in a minute.

Happy First Day of School!

Welcome back! I am excited to start a new school year! Open house is this Tuesday August 26th from 4-5:30. I can't wait to meet everyone!

Our Garden Play

 Over the past month we learned about caterpillars and even got to watch them turn into butterflies in our classroom.

Once they were butterflies, we had to say goodbye to them and let them go into nature.

We had a great time touring the hospital on our mini-medic tour on Friday!  We learned a lot about all the different departments of the hospital.
