Thank you so much to Nancy Wojick for coming in and doing Junior Achievement with us.  The students had a lot of fun learning about the community, government, and jobs!

After reading The Night Tree, we decided to do a little activity of our own to help the animals during winter.  We put peanut butter on bagels and covered them with popcorn and oatmeal and then hung them on trees for a little Christmas treat for the animals!

Merry Christmas!  We were busy writing letters to Santa Claus!  The students wrote 3 ways they have been good this year and then we sent them off to the North Pole.  We are excited to see if we will get a letter back from Santa this year!

Turkeys in Disguise!!

This is one of my favorite writing projects!!  I love seeing what families come up with to disguise their turkeys!  The students are always so creative when they write their story about their turkeys.  This year we are taking our turkey stories and sending them in to have a published book for our class!!  I enjoyed seeing how excited the kids were about writing!!
