The students jumped like a leprechaun for 40 minutes to raise money for Huey's Hideaway museum!!
Leprechaun Traps
During St. Patrick's week, the students were hard at work making leprechaun traps to try to trap the sneaky leprechaun. We didn't end up trapping him, the traps were great!
After reading the story Big Bushy Mustache, the students got to try out mustaches of their own!!
Dr. Seuss Week
The students had fun reading many Dr. Seuss books and learning all about the author during Dr. Seuss week. The students wrote about all the places they will go in their future and also got to bring in their favorite Dr. Seuss book to read with a partner at the end of the week.
Beach Party
The students filled the shield and earned a beach party!
The students and their grandparents or special friend had a great time at the Grandparents program. The second grade performed songs and presented the grandparents with blue ribbons. Afterwards they got to sit down together and have cookie and juice.
