Recycling Bags Competition

Our class had the highest total in second grade.

Our class brought in 1,589 bags! Awesome job!!

This is what 21,000 bags looks like! 

That's how many the whole school collected!  

The bags took over Mrs. Schumacher's classroom!

We "threw" our bags on top of the big pile!

For the past month we have been learning about how to write opinion papers.  After practicing writing many different opinion papers, the students picked one to publish.  After a lot of hard work to publish their paper, they listened to each others published papers.  They all have become great writers!

We loved having Zach's dog, Mazy, visit our classroom for his student of the week!
