The Night Tree Story and Activity with our preschooler buddies

After reading the story The Night Tree, we made the birds food by putting peanut butter and bird seed on a bagel!

We had fun putting them on the trees for the animals in the winter!

Celebrating Chinese New Year by making Chinese fried rice and eating it with chopsticks!

Christmas letter and our Elves

We wrote letters to Santa Claus telling him about all the good things that we did this year.  We sent them off to the North Pole!  We can't wait and see if he writes back to us!!

Parent Writing Night

Thank you so much for all the parents who came to our writing night last night!  I was so excited to see all the students sharing their wonderful stories with their parents!  They did such a wonderful job!!

I am NOT a turkey!!

One of my favorite writing projects this year is when the students disguise a turkey into something else and write about the turkey's adventure of not getting eaten for Thanksgiving dinner!!  Their turkey disguises are so fun and their writing is so creative!
