One of my favorite writing projects this year is when the students disguise a turkey into something else and write about the turkey's adventure of not getting eaten for Thanksgiving dinner!!  Their turkey disguises are so fun and their writing is so creative!

Our class has been working really hard for the last couple weeks at writing a story with a beginning, middle, and end.  The students have going back and adding details, interesting words, and transition words to show order in their writing.  We then edited their writing to make a published copy and illustrated each page.  We were so excited to share our stories with Ms. Marsha's preschoolers!  Then we helped them make a fall project and enjoyed a snack with them!
